This purse is one of my all-time favorites! I personally have several bags in this stitch, and purses with this stitch are among my best sellers at craft shows. There’s something about the shell stitch that is so soft and feminine. The added texture and scalloped edge in this variation on the shell stitch makes it amazingly sculpted and lovely.<\/p>\n

Made from easy stitches that any beginner should be able to handle, this is one of those projects that looks elaborate but is really very easy to crochet! Your friends and family will be amazed at your talents.<\/p>\n

  3. Zipper for purse closure (16″ – 18″)<\/li>\n
  4. 7″ zipper and 1\/4 yard of muslin to create interior zippered pocket (optional)<\/li>\n
